JBL has introduced the Live Buds 4 and Live Beam 4 to the Indian market, featuring adaptive noise cancellation, extended battery endurance, and a smart charging case , marking a significant upgrade in its premium truly wireless earbud range.
JBL has brought the Live Buds 4 and Live Beam 4 to India, extending its Live 4 family of true wireless earphones with two models aimed at users who want premium features in different fit styles. The company says both pairs are now on sale through JBL India’s website and major e-commerce platforms, with the Buds 4 using a more conventional in-ear design and the Beam 4 adopting a stem-style layout.
Both models are built around 10mm dynamic drivers and include Hi-Res Audio support, JBL Spatial Sound, Personi-Fi 3.0, Personal Sound Amplification, low-volume EQ and JBL’s signature tuning. According to JBL’s wider Live 4 launch material, the series also centres on True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0 and a new Smart Charging Case with a larger screen and updated controls, allowing users to adjust settings without reaching for their phone. StereoNet said the refreshed case is designed to make ANC, EQ and volume easier to manage on the go.
Call quality is another major selling point. JBL says the two models use a four-microphone adaptive noise-cancelling system, while the Beam 4 adds Smart Talk with Adaptive ANC 2.0. Both earbuds also come with six microphones for calls, plus AI-based call equalisation and sound-level optimisation. That combination is meant to improve voice clarity in noisier environments and make the earbuds more practical for regular voice and video calls.
Battery life differs by model. JBL says the Live Buds 4 can last up to 32 hours with ANC switched on or 40 hours with it off, while the Live Beam 4 stretches to 40 hours with ANC on and 48 hours with ANC off. A 10-minute fast charge is said to provide up to 4 hours of playback, and the charging case supports wireless charging. In its broader Live 4 announcement, JBL positioned the range as a more customisable premium line, with the Buds, Beam and Flex variants aimed at different wear preferences and feature needs.
