Lenovo targets local AI users with RTX Spark-powered Yoga laptops

Lenovo has introduced the Yoga Pro 9n and Yoga 9n 2-in-1, pairing premium displays and flexible designs with hardware aimed at running AI workloads locally.

Lenovo has expanded its Yoga range with two laptops built around NVIDIA’s RTX Spark platform, positioning both systems as machines for local AI work as well as mainstream premium use. According to YugaTech, the new models are the Yoga Pro 9n and the Yoga 9n 2-in-1, each aimed at users who want on-device processing for AI tasks rather than relying entirely on cloud services. The Pro 9n is pitched towards creators and developers, while the convertible 9n 2-in-1 is designed for people who want pen input and flexible form factors for drawing, annotation and editing.

The Yoga Pro 9n pairs a 15.3-inch 2.5K PureSight Pro OLED panel with a variable refresh rate of up to 165Hz, which should make it more suitable for fast-moving creative work and gaming. Lenovo says the notebook can be configured with up to 128GB of unified memory, and it includes support for AI development, video editing, software development and 3D rendering. The specification list also points to a 9.2-megapixel infrared camera, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, dual USB-C ports, HDMI 2.1 and a 92.5Wh battery, alongside a haptic Force Pad with pen support.

The Yoga 9n 2-in-1 follows a different brief. It uses a larger 16-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 120Hz ceiling and a 360-degree hinge that allows laptop, tablet, tent, stand and canvas modes. Lenovo says the system supports the Yoga Pen Gen 2 for direct writing and sketching on the screen or the Force Pad. Its configuration ceiling is lower than the Pro 9n’s, with up to 64GB of unified memory and a 2TB SSD, but it adds a 99.9Wh battery and a layout that is more clearly aimed at note-taking, illustration and hands-on content work.

Availability and pricing vary by market. YugaTech reported that the Yoga Pro 9n Gen 11 is listed on Lenovo’s Philippines website from PHP 165,774.27, while the Yoga 9n 2-in-1 appears on Lenovo’s US site from $2,999.99. Both machines are part of Lenovo’s push to bring more AI-capable PCs into its premium line-up, with the company leaning on new hardware acceleration rather than software-only features.
