Lenovo’s new China-bound desktop combines a 27-inch 120Hz screen, upgradeable storage and a slimmer design, with sales starting at 6,999 yuan.
Lenovo is preparing to bring a new all-in-one desktop, the Xiaoxin 27 Aura Edition, to market in China, with sales due to begin at midnight on Thursday. The company has set the introductory price at 6,999 yuan and will offer the machine in three finishes: blue, purple and pink.
The system is built around Intel’s Core 5 Processor 320 and comes with 16GB of LPDDR5X-7467 memory and a 512GB solid-state drive. Lenovo pairs that hardware with a 27-inch Full HD display running at 120Hz and rated at 350 nits, a combination aimed at users who want a large screen with smoother motion than standard office all-in-ones typically provide.
The Xiaoxin 27 Aura Edition also leaves room for a second M.2 SSD, giving buyers a straightforward upgrade path. Lenovo has fitted a 5-megapixel camera, Harman-branded 2.0 speakers and ambient lighting, while the package includes a wireless keyboard and mouse.
Design appears to be a major selling point. Lenovo says the chassis and display are both as slim as 13mm, while the stand has been reduced in size by 38% compared with the previous generation. The screen supports a paper-like viewing mode, and the panel can be adjusted for height and tilt.
Connectivity is broad for an integrated desktop of this type. According to Lenovo’s specifications, the machine supports Wi-Fi, two USB-C ports rated at 20Gbps, four USB-A ports at 10Gbps, a 1GbE Ethernet port, HDMI 2.1 input and output through TMDS, and a combined 3.5mm audio jack.
