OnePlus has introduced the N6 Lite in India, featuring a colossal 7,000mAh battery, 120Hz refresh rate, and durable design, targeting budget-conscious consumers seeking long-lasting performance.
OnePlus has expanded its budget N series in India with the N6 Lite, a handset built around battery life, a large display and basic durability features. The phone is priced at Rs. 16,999 for the lone 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model, with bank offers reducing the effective cost to Rs. 16,249, according to reports from Indian technology outlets. It goes on sale in Midnight Hype and Neo Green through OnePlus’ own channels, Amazon India and authorised retailers.
The device uses a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness rated at up to 900 nits. OnePlus has also added its Aqua Touch feature, which is intended to keep touch response working when the screen is wet or covered with moisture. The phone carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H certification, and measures 8.95mm thick at 215g.
Inside, the N6 Lite is powered by the UNISOC T7250 processor with Mali-G57 MP1 graphics. It ships with LPDDR4X memory, UFS 2.2 storage and a microSD slot that supports expansion of up to 2TB. The handset runs Android 16 with OxygenOS 16, and OnePlus says its software tuning is designed to preserve smoothness over a longer period of use.
The camera set-up is modest. There is a 13-megapixel rear camera based on an OmniVision sensor, with a high-resolution mode that outputs 50-megapixel images, plus 1080p video capture at 30 frames per second. Up front is a 5-megapixel selfie camera. OnePlus has also added AI features such as AI Clear Face and AI Eraser, alongside Google Gemini integration for search and other tasks.
The main selling point is the 7,000mAh battery, which OnePlus says can deliver up to three days of typical use. The company also claims up to 55.5 hours of voice calls, 29.9 hours of navigation or 26.8 hours of video playback, and says the battery should retain more than 80% of its capacity after 1,600 charge cycles. Reverse charging is limited to 5W, while other hardware includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and 5G support.
