OPPO has unveiled the Reno16 F 5G in the Philippines, boasting a large 7,000mAh battery, a vibrant AMOLED display, and a 50MP camera system, promising competitive mid-range performance.
OPPO has formally launched the Reno16 F 5G in the Philippines, pitching the handset as a mid-range model with a large battery, a bright AMOLED screen and a camera system built around a 50MP main sensor. YugaTech reported that pricing starts at PHP 44,999 for the 8GB and 128GB version, with the 256GB model costing PHP 49,999.
The phone centres on a 6.57-inch FHD+ Crystal Guard+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,400 nits, according to OPPO’s product listing. It runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300-Energy chip, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X memory, while storage can be expanded via microSD.
For imaging, OPPO has fitted the Reno16 F 5G with a triple rear camera array: a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The front camera is also 50MP and supports 4K video recording at up to 30 frames per second, a feature that places emphasis on both selfies and social video.
The device’s headline specification is its 7,000mAh battery, which supports 80W SuperVOOC wired charging. OPPO says the phone also offers 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, dual-SIM and eSIM support, an under-display fingerprint reader and ColorOS 16. It comes in Dream Purple, Twilight Violet and Pop White.
