Rokid has launched its AI smart glasses in Indonesia, offering models with and without augmented reality, as part of its rapid global push integrating AI ecosystems and redefining wearable devices for professional and mobile users.
Rokid has brought its AI smart glasses to Indonesia, using the DTI-CX 2026 technology expo in Jakarta to show how wearable devices are pushing artificial intelligence beyond smartphones and laptops. The product is being distributed locally by PT Denka Pratama Indonesia, which presented the glasses at the Jakarta International Convention Centre on August 5 and 6.
At the booth, PT Denka Pratama’s Ricky Cahyadi Halim said the company sees the device as aimed mainly at professional users and people with active, mobile lifestyles. He said the glasses are intended to let users access digital functions without repeatedly reaching for a phone, a pitch that mirrors Rokid’s broader move to position smart glasses as an everyday productivity tool rather than a niche gadget.
Rokid is showing two versions in Indonesia. The cheaper Rokid Neo AI Smart Glasses cost around Rp7 million and leave out augmented reality, while the full Rokid AI Smart Glasses are priced at about Rp11 million and include an AR display in the lens. Both models offer similar core functions, but the more expensive version adds the visual layer that can turn the lens into a screen.
The feature set includes prompting, phone calls, note-taking, photos, video and translation. That translation tool is likely to be one of the more practical uses for Indonesian buyers, particularly when speaking with people who use other languages. Rokid’s broader global push has also centred on a lightweight, voice-first design, with reports describing the company’s latest glasses as screenless, prescription-friendly devices built for long wear and powered by a 12-megapixel camera.
Outside Indonesia, Rokid has been expanding its smart-glasses strategy quickly. Company announcements say the Rokid AI Glasses Style went on sale globally after its CES 2026 debut and is available through Rokid’s website and Amazon in the US and Germany. Other releases say the company is integrating Google Gemini Flash 3.5 into its smart-glasses roadmap and positioning the line to work with ChatGPT, Qwen and DeepSeek, underscoring a wider effort to build an open AI ecosystem around wearable computing.
