Vivo readies Y31T 5G with market-specific features for India amid broader rollout

Vivo is set to launch the Y31T 5G in India, featuring multiple memory options and a refreshed design, signalling a broader market deployment of its popular Y-series amidst device updates.

Vivo is preparing to add another Y-series handset to its India line-up, with the Y31T 5G now appearing on the company’s Indian online store. TelecomTalk reported that the model is listed ahead of pricing and launch details, while the brand’s long-running Y series has traditionally been aimed at offline retail channels as well as online availability. That suggests the phone is being readied for a broader roll-out, even though Vivo has not yet published a launch date.

The listing points to three memory options: 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB and 6GB+256GB. It also shows three colour finishes: Crimson Red, Golden Mist and Seashore. On the hardware side, the phone is expected to carry a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD panel with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a peak brightness of 1,250 nits and 83% NTSC colour coverage. Power is said to come from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, which uses two performance cores rated at 2.2GHz.

Vivo’s Indian product pages for the Y31 5G show a closely related configuration: a 6.68-inch HD+ LCD display at 120Hz, the same Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, a 50-megapixel dual rear camera and a 6,500mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge. The official pages also list Diamond Green and Rose Red as colour choices. Taken together, the material suggests Vivo is preparing a market-specific variant or refresh of the same device family, although the company has not yet clarified how the Y31T 5G will be positioned against the Y31 5G already shown on its site.
