Adobe integrates 70 creative tools into ChatGPT plugin, streamlining cross-application tasks

Adobe has launched a comprehensive ChatGPT plugin that unites over 70 tools from its creative suite, enabling seamless editing and design across Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere and more within a chat environment, with broader plans to expand into Microsoft Copilot, Slack, and Gemini.

Adobe has launched a single ChatGPT plugin that brings more than 70 tools from across its creative software into one interface, according to 9to5Mac and Digital Camera World. The integration pulls together capabilities from Photoshop, Firefly, Premiere, Acrobat, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign and Adobe Stock, giving users a way to carry out design, editing, video and document tasks without leaving the chat environment.

The move replaces earlier, separate connections for products such as Photoshop, Express and Acrobat. Once activated, the plugin can interpret a plain-language request and coordinate work across multiple Adobe applications, with results then saved to Creative Cloud. Adobe says the same setup also works in ChatGPT Work and Codex, with guest access available alongside Adobe account login.

The range of uses is broad. Adobe says the plugin can edit images, produce campaign video clips, build marketing assets and create polished PDFs. Digital Camera World reported that it can also apply consistent edits across multiple uploaded files, browse templates with live previews, and turn spreadsheet data into formatted documents such as event cards, catalogues and charts. For more advanced control, users can continue editing in native Adobe apps.

The plugin is available globally from August 6, 2026, according to Digital Camera World. Installation is done through ChatGPT’s plugin directory, after which users can call it with “@Adobe” or select it from the plus menu. Adobe also appears to be widening the same approach beyond ChatGPT, with planned support for Microsoft Copilot and later integrations with Slack and Gemini, pointing to a broader strategy of placing its creative tools inside conversational software.
