Aecooly unveils a new line of lightweight, versatile personal fans, including a USB-C phone fan, designed to meet rising demand for portable cooling solutions in everyday settings.
Aecooly has added a new personal cooling line for 2026, building around three products aimed at lighter, more adaptable everyday use: the Air Mate Type-C phone fan, the Click Mini portable neck fan and the Air Gimbal handheld fan. The company is positioning the range as a response to rising demand for compact cooling devices that are easy to carry and simple to use in commuting, travel, festivals and other warm-weather settings.
Winnie Chen, Aecooly’s marketing communications manager, framed the launch in human-centred terms, saying the aim is to make technology feel unobtrusive rather than heavy or complicated. That approach is clearest in the Air Mate, a 38-gram fan head that plugs directly into a USB-C port and runs from the power supplied by a smartphone, tablet or similar device. With four speed settings and no internal battery, it is designed for instant use rather than long charging cycles.
Aecooly says the Air Mate can also be paired with an optional grip for longer cordless operation, turning the small attachment into a more traditional handheld fan with extended battery life. The product has been listed at $17.99 in black, purple and white, and the company says it is intended for use beyond casual personal cooling, including mobile gaming, streaming and other tasks that can raise device temperatures.
The series is now on sale through Aecooly’s own website, Amazon and selected retail partners. The launch comes as more manufacturers are splitting personal cooling into specialist formats, such as neck fans, handheld devices and phone-mounted fans, rather than relying on one general-purpose model.
