Amazon discounts Ugreen Bluetooth receiver to bring wireless audio to existing hi-fi gear

Amazon offers a 35% discount on the Ugreen Bluetooth receiver, enabling older speakers, hi-fi systems, and car stereos to stream high-quality audio from smartphones without the need for replacement, supporting Bluetooth 6.0 and LDAC for premium sound quality.

Amazon is discounting a compact Ugreen Bluetooth receiver that lets older speakers, hi-fi systems and car stereos play audio from a smartphone without replacing the original equipment. The device is listed at €19.49 in Spain, a drop of 35% from its usual price, according to the report from El Androide Libre.

The accessory works as a simple bridge. It pairs with a phone over Bluetooth and sends the audio onwards through a 3.5 mm analogue output, so any speaker, amplifier or dock with a compatible input can be brought into the wireless era. That makes it a practical option for people who already own decent audio gear but do not want to buy a new Bluetooth speaker.

The main technical selling point is LDAC support. According to Amazon, Walmart and other retailer listings, the receiver supports Bluetooth 6.0, LDAC at up to 24-bit/96 kHz, dual-device pairing and up to 15 hours of playback, with USB-C charging. That places it above very basic adapters, especially for Android users whose phones support LDAC and high-resolution streaming services.

For listeners using an iPhone or another handset without LDAC, the adapter still works with AAC and SBC, the common Bluetooth audio codecs. The practical appeal is cost: rather than spending several hundred euros on a new sound system, users can add wireless streaming to equipment they already own for less than €20. Amazon’s promotion is scheduled to run until 9 August.
