Argos reduces the price of Sony’s WH-CH520 wireless on-ear headphones to £29.99, with cashback offers potentially slashing the effective cost to below £15 for new customers, highlighting a practical choice for everyday listening.
Argos is selling Sony’s WH-CH520 wireless on-ear headphones at a lower price, and cashback through TopCashback can cut the cost further for eligible new customers. The deal reduces the appeal of a model that has already drawn favourable reviews for battery life, comfort and simple controls, making it a practical option for commuting, work calls and gym use.
The headphones are listed in five colours and are currently marked down from £34.99 to £29.99 on Argos’s website. TopCashback’s offer, as described by the retailer deal site, can bring the effective cost to £14.70 for a new TopCashback member who is also new to Argos, or £14.87 for a new TopCashback member who already has an Argos account.
Argos says the WH-CH520 are designed for everyday listening and calls, with 30mm drivers, sound customisation through Sony’s app and Multipoint Connection, which lets them stay paired to two devices at once. The company also lists a claimed battery life of up to 50 hours, a three-minute quick charge for 1.5 hours of playback and Bluetooth connectivity up to 10 metres. The headphones include on-ear controls, voice assistant support and USB charging.
Independent reviews have generally backed up Sony’s value-for-money claims. What Hi-Fi described the WH-CH520 as a strong budget choice for people tired of constant recharging, while TechRadar said they deliver solid sound, a more comfortable fit than Sony’s older budget model and useful features such as multipoint pairing. Tom’s Guide and SoundGuys also highlighted the battery life, light weight and everyday practicality, although TechRadar noted there is no active noise cancellation and no 3.5mm cable option. On Argos’s own review pages, shoppers praised the sound, long battery life and ease of pairing.
