OPPO’s new premium earbuds combine dual-driver audio tuned by Dynaudio with adaptive noise cancellation, real-time translation and up to 53 hours of battery life.
OPPO has unveiled the Enco X4, its new premium wireless earbuds, pairing a dual-driver acoustic system with active noise cancellation and a wider set of artificial intelligence functions. The launch took place in Mallorca, alongside the company’s Find X10 smartphone series, and reflects OPPO’s continued push to position its audio products as more than simple accessories.
At the centre of the new model is a dual-transducer layout: an 11mm woofer with a TRF diaphragm and a 6mm planar tweeter. OPPO says each driver is matched with its own DAC, allowing bass and treble to be processed separately for cleaner separation across the frequency range. The company is also keeping its collaboration with Dynaudio, offering five tuned sound profiles for different genres and listening preferences. Independent product coverage has described the same coaxial dual-driver and dual-DAC approach, with support for lossless playback through LHDC and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification.
Noise control is another major focus. OPPO says the Enco X4 uses three microphones, a 6nm neural processing unit and low-pressure ear tips to improve ANC performance. The company claims the new system is markedly stronger than before, with wider overall noise suppression and better handling of voice frequencies. It also includes an adaptive mode that adjusts cancellation in response to changing surroundings such as train stations, taxis and aircraft cabins. Reports from the launch further highlight AI Clear Call technology, which is designed to improve speech clarity in difficult acoustic environments.
The earbuds also move deeper into on-device AI features. According to OPPO, AI Live Translation can handle real-time interpretation in more than 30 languages, while Gemini support allows voice activation of Google’s assistant. There is also Dolby-enabled audio recording, Bluetooth 6.1, multipoint connectivity and battery life of up to 53 hours with the charging case. That figure broadly matches other launch reports, which also note up to 13 hours of playback from the earbuds alone with noise cancelling switched off. OPPO has not yet positioned the Enco X4 as a niche product for audiophiles only; instead, it is presenting them as a flagship model built around sound quality, call performance and practical AI tools.
