Owltech has launched the OWL-MW07 series, a cable-integrated wireless charger designed to reduce the number of charging accessories needed for daily use and travel. The device combines a Qi2.2-compatible smartphone charger, an Apple Watch charger and a USB Type-C cable in one unit, allowing a compatible phone and Apple Watch to be charged at the same time. According to the company, the aim is to simplify desk setups as well as packing for trips by replacing several separate items with a single accessory. Owltech is based in Ebina, Kanagawa Prefecture, and says it develops, manufactures and inspects its products in-house.
The charger supports up to 25W wireless output for compatible smartphones, placing it among the more powerful Qi2.2 accessories announced for consumer use. Owltech says the charging section and the base of the USB Type-C connector have both passed a 50,000-bend durability test, a specification intended to address a common weakness in integrated cables. The company also lists overvoltage protection, overheat protection and foreign object detection among the built-in safety functions.
The product is being sold in black and white versions, with a cable tie included for tidier storage and easier transport. Owltech says the cable is about 1.5 metres long and the unit operates within a temperature range of 5C to 35C. The company’s direct online shop and Amazon Japan listing both carry the new model, while the official product page identifies it as part of the firm’s wireless charging range.
The release follows Owltech’s earlier move into cable-integrated wireless charging with the OWL-MW05 series, which also targeted 25W rapid charging. That context suggests the company is extending a broader product strategy around compact charging hardware, particularly for users who want fewer accessories without giving up fast wireless charging.
