Owltech’s OWL-MW07 combines a Qi2.2-certified 25W smartphone charger with Apple Watch charging and a built-in USB Type-C cable, backed by a claimed 50,000-bend durability test.
Owltech has expanded its charging range with the OWL-MW07 series, a compact 2-in-1 accessory that combines a Qi2.2-compatible smartphone charger, an Apple Watch charging section and a USB Type-C cable in a single unit. According to the company’s product page and release materials, the design is intended to reduce the number of separate chargers and leads needed for daily use, whether at home, at a desk or when travelling.
The main technical point is Qi2.2 support with up to 25W wireless charging for compatible smartphones. Owltech says the handset charging side supports 5W, 7.5W, 10W, 15W and 25W outputs, while the Apple Watch section delivers 2.5W. The company also says the charger has obtained Qi2 certification, which is meant to provide reassurance over compatibility and charging behaviour.
Durability has been a central part of the pitch. Owltech says the cable joints around each charging section and the USB Type-C connector passed its in-house test for roughly 50,000 bends without breaking. The unit also ships with a hook-and-loop cable tie for tidier storage, and it includes overvoltage protection, overheating protection and foreign object detection.
The OWL-MW07 series is available in black and white, with model numbers OWL-MW07-BK and OWL-MW07-WH. Owltech has not disclosed pricing or a release date in its announcement, although later product coverage cited a price of ¥6,680 and listed availability through online retail channels. The charger is backed by a one-year warranty, uses a USB Type-C input rated at 5V/3A, 9V/3A or 15V/3A, and has a cable length of about 1.5 metres.
