UGREEN’s 65W retractable charger offers portable power boost with built-in cable on Amazon Japan

UGREEN’s compact 65W retractable USB-C charger with built-in cable is now available on Amazon Japan at a 27% discount, combining portability and high-speed charging for travellers and daily users.

UGREEN’s 65W retractable charger is being offered on Amazon in Japan at a reduced price of ¥4,280, down from ¥5,880, according to AppBank. The 27% discount puts the compact wall charger into the sort of price band that will appeal to buyers looking for a single travel adapter rather than a separate charger and cable.

The main selling point is the built-in USB-C lead, which extends to 0.69 metres and can be set in eight increments. That design removes the need to pack a loose cable and reduces tangling in a bag. AppBank says the charger measures 53×50.4×50.9mm and weighs 200g, which should make it easy to carry alongside a laptop, phone and other everyday kit.

In performance terms, the charger offers up to 65W from a single port and is claimed to charge a MacBook Air M4 to 84% in one hour. It has three ports in total, and power is distributed automatically when more than one device is connected. According to UGREEN’s product information, the charger supports USB Power Delivery and PPS, and is designed to work with phones, tablets and notebooks that charge over USB-C. TechRadar’s review of the same Nexode 65W family found the retractable-cable layout especially practical for travel, although it noted that output falls when multiple high-demand devices are used at the same time.

UGREEN also says the charger uses GaNInfinity technology for high conversion efficiency, together with its Thermal Guard temperature control system and eight layers of protection. The cable is rated for 25,000 extensions and 10,000 bends, while the charger comes with a 24-month warranty. For buyers deciding whether it is a fit, the clearest use case is portable charging: one device, one charger, and no separate cable to untangle.
